When the mountains turn white and the valley settles into its quiet winter rhythm, Morzine and Les Gets become the perfect backdrop for cozy, cinematic photoshoots. Whether you\u2019re visiting for a family ski holiday, a couple\u2019s getaway, or a surprise proposal, these alpine locations offer something truly magical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a local photographer raising my own kids here, I\u2019ve spent countless winter days exploring these spots. Each one captures a different side of the Alps \u2014 from peaceful lakes to panoramic peaks \u2014 all easily accessible and ideal for relaxed, natural moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are my five favorite locations for winter photoshoots in Morzine, Les Gets and Avoriaz<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Mont Ch\u00e9ry (Les Gets) \u2014 My Favorite Winter Spot<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If I had to choose just one winter photoshoot location, it would be Mont Ch\u00e9ry<\/strong>. Sitting high above Les Gets, it offers a breathtaking view across the snowy valley \u2014 and on a clear day, you can even spot Mont Blanc glowing in the distance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s also one of the easiest spots to reach: you can park right next to the lift, take the Mont Ch\u00e9ry t\u00e9l\u00e9ph\u00e9rique<\/a><\/strong> (the closed cable car), and after a short 100-meter walk, you\u2019ll reach a beautiful open plateau<\/strong>. That\u2019s where I usually shoot \u2014 the snow stays pristine, the light is soft, and the views are unbeatable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just next to the plateau, there\u2019s also a wide pedestrian trail that winds through the pine forest<\/strong>, offering a completely different atmosphere for photos \u2014 quieter, more intimate, and beautifully framed by tall alpine trees. It\u2019s perfect for adding variety to your session, combining wide open mountain views with cozy winter forest scenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
